The wall assisted handstand is an excellent way to practice the balance portion of the handstand without worrying about the momentum associated with the kick up. Ideally if you want a 10 second handstand then you should first master the 10 second wall assisted handstand. Personally i really want a 1 min freestanding handstand so my goal should be to get a 1 min wall assisted handstand.
