This rotational sequence is a great linking together of standing poses with a focus on spinal twisting, lateral hip & hamstring stretching (front leg), and balance work. Starting in warrior 1 (virabhadrasana 1) with your left leg forward, bring your right hand inside your right foot (onto the floor, block, or a chair seat), rotate your chest to the left, and pull back through your outer left hip toward a straight front leg. (This is basically a modified twisting triangle (parivrtta trikonasana.)
