Westmoreland State Park is a gem of Virginia’s state park system. In addition to lots of other cool stuff, you can visit fossil beach. If you’re lucky, you might even find a shark tooth there (I did)! There are signs up warning you not to climb or dig for shark teeth on the cliffs next to the beach because they are constantly shifting and eroding.
