It’s 4am and I’m sitting here watching two confirmed mature males Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli and Poecilotheria rufilata Not all species of mature male tarantulas look the same and not all of them have tibial hooks. But every mature male will have palpal bulbs. Palpal bulbs are the definitive indicator of sexual maturity in males.
