Two living fossils in one day😳🐢🐊 First up is the alligator snapping turtle and this guy is built different🙌 With that massive head, hooked beak, and ridged shell covered in spikes, he looks like something straight out of the prehistoric era🤯 These turtles are ambush predators and spend most of their time sitting completely still at the bottom of rivers and lakes👀 They open their mouth and wiggle that worm like lure on their tongue to attract fish, and the second a fish gets close it’s game
