Hettinger, ND had their annual awards ceremony last week and JC Farms was honored to be nominated as Ag Producer of the Year(we did not win). The boys had some work they needed to do so Citti and I went to represent JC Farms. The award committee did a fabulous job with the event especially the movie. Happy Birthday America!! Hettinger, North Dakota does amazing job celebrating the 4th of July. We had a wonderful day. Started by finishing baling barley and peas and checking cows and waters then parade then inflatable games and then naps and finally rounded out with supper at Grandma Dode’s and the big Jaycees fireworks. We are slowly becoming able to touch them, but they are still afraid of being picked up.
