On August 16, 1993 the USWA’s “The Mother of All Matches” took place in front of 1,850 fans at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee and aired on WMC-TV 5. The main event was a tag-team match that pitted Jerry “The King” Lawler & “The Fabulous One” Jeff Jarrett against Bret “The Hitman” Hart & Owen “The Rocket” Hart. The event was notable in the fact that at the same time in the WWF Owen and Bret were faces while Lawler and Jarrett were heels. Their roles were reversed in the Memphis base
