When I came back inside, Noah had snapped his laptop in half. People often ask why I don’t punish him for this. The answer is complicated. Noah has Level 3 autism. His brain doesn’t process cause and effect, consequences, or discipline the way most people’s brains do. A severe punishment wouldn’t teach him the lesson people assume it would. H

Today started a little late with breakfast, then helped Mom settle into her new rented home.
