🎥 Caught on camera… the moment our Genie Lift failed mid-lift while positioning a steel beam 😳 In slow motion, you can see a sheave wheel (pulley guide) pop off. Thankfully, the internal safety brake did exactly what it’s designed to do - kick in and prevent a serious drop. A big relief on a high-risk lift like this. 💥 After speaking with the hire company, it turns out the component had been installed incorrectly. They were extremely apologetic and confirmed the issue was down to improper set
