This Bobcat is living up to his name as he flicked his little tail around. Unlike many other wild cats with long tails, the bobcat’s tail is short—usually around 5–7 inches—and often looks as though it’s been cut or “bobbed.” Early settlers in America noticed this distinct feature and started calling the animal a “Bobcat.” Notice how he could care less that my 80-pound dog is standing with me.
