Alfred Hitchcock on the iconic shower scene in “Psycho” (1960). It’s interesting how the advancements made in filmmaking techniques are still mostly inferior to the approach Hitchcock had in terms of suspense and horror. I am a firm believer in that it is scarier to skillfully imply something horrific, rather than show it explicitly.
