The Chœur de chambre de Namur and La Cappella Mediterranea, conducted by Leonardo García-Alarcón, paid tribute in 2018 to the composer Jacques Arcadelt on the 450th anniversary of his death. Born in Liège or Namur around 1507, the long forgotten composer was one of the most celebrated ones in 16th-century Italy, to the point he would outsell Monteverdi's work even by the early 17th century !
