The immigrants from Cuba, Laos, Mexico, Myanmar, Vietnam and South Sudan arrived in South Sudan on Friday after a federal judge cleared the way for the Trump administration to relocate them.

The Trump administration deported eight migrants convicted of various crimes to South Sudan after weeks of legal back-and-forth between district courts, the Justice Department, and ultimately the Supreme Court,

The eight deported men had been convicted of violent crimes, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
