Update #2: An interesting night of conflicting reports has brought no resolution to the idea Sony secretly paid for Black Myth: Wukong exclusivity. Neither the platform holder nor developer Game Science has commented on the speculation, but Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb has gone against the recent round of reports.

The popularity of Black Myth: Wukong has been quite impressive with the new single-player title has already moved more than 10 million copies worldwide, and it hasn't even released on Xbox yet.

The game is seemingly still slated for an Xbox release later. One of the most popular games at the moment, Black Myth: Wukong, is reportedly not on Xbox Series X|S due to a non-publicized exclusivity clause between Sony and developer GameScience.

Wukong have arisen, causing confusion around its forthcoming Xbox release. Black Myth: Wukong released earlier this month across PC and PlayStation 5, with an Xbox version still awaiting a launch date.

Wukong on Xbox, as one set of insiders claim it’s a PS5 exclusive and others that it’s not. Black Myth: Wukong has had a hugely successful launch on PlayStation 5 and PC, but a whole lot of confusion has emerged around the delay of the Xbox Series X/S version.

Wukong is officially out as of August 20, but one console seems to have gotten overlooked in the launch. The action RPG developed by Game Science is out on PC and PlayStation 5 right now. However, the game hasn't been released on Xbox yet,
