A woman who pleaded guilty to the 2014 stabbing of her sixth-grade classmate is back in custody after Wisconsin police say she vanished from a group home where she lived under supervised release Saturday night.

The woman convicted of brutally stabbing her sixth-grade classmate to please the fictional horror character "Slender Man" was apprehended in Illinois after having left her Wisconsin group home with a 43-year-old man, officials said.

After escaping her supervised home in Madison, Wisconsin, Morgan Geyser signed extradition papers in Cook County Criminal Court on Tuesday, which will return her to Waukesha County.
