Legendary head coach Nick Saban got fans talking after revealing his favorite NFL team on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Nick Saban established himself as one of the all-time greats during his 28 years as a college football head coach. He compiled a 297-71-1 record, winning seven national championships. Six came with the Alabama Crimson Tide and one with the LSU Tigers.

The former Crimson Tide head coach listed the three teams he believes are a step above the rest this season, but notably, one team was absent from his list.

Nick Saban believes a trio of teams are the best of the best in college football as the stretch run hits with Week 12.

Alabama football still controls its own destiny with three games remaining on its 2025 schedule. The Crimson Tide is in position to earn a first-round bye if they win out, and a loss to either Oklahoma or Auburn is not expected to keep them out of the playoff.
