True-crime series "Dateline NBC" will explore the stabbing deaths of Tanna Togstad and Tim Mumbrue in rural Waupaca County. The episode, called " Raising the Dead, " will air 8 p.m. Nov. 21. Togstad, 23, and her boyfriend Mumbrue, 35, were killed in March 1992. There was evidence Togstad was sexually assaulted.

NBC, which is next up in the broadcast network rotation for the awards, announced Tuesday that it will air the 78th Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14, 2026 from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The awards will also live stream the theater’s namesake, NBC’s sibling streamer Peacock.

The move to Monday is no surprise, given that NBC and Peacock hold the rights to the 78th event. In recent years, when it's NBC's turn to air the Emmys (under the soon-to-expire network "wheel deal"), the network moves the show to Mondays in order to avoid its broadcast of Sunday Night Football.

Combs' team says NBC's filing "has no relevance to whether the documentary met basic standards of accuracy and responsibility."
