HBO chief Casey Bloys has dropped a major update on the planned release schedule for the "Harry Potter" reboot series.

Last Friday, on October 31, 2025, Redanian Intelligence, an online blog, published a report stating that the HBO series was going to employ narration as a device, where someone off-screen was going to narrate the events unfolding on the screen. The blog said that The Crown and Anatomy of a Scandal 's Tom Turner is in the HBO series as the narrator.
