Tesla ( TSLA 0.04%) is one of the world's leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, but many analysts believe the company's true value lies in its futuristic product platforms like the autonomous robotaxi and Optimus humanoid robot. In fact, CEO Elon Musk believes those products will make Tesla the largest company in the world one day.

Tesla stock dropped 6% early on Tuesday as traders digested a new Truth Social post from Trump, which highlighted how much assistance Musk has gotten from the US government. The president also suggested having DOGE look into cancelling contracts with Musk's business empire.

The share prices for Tesla stock tumbled on Tuesday after President Donald Trump suggested the federal government might end its electric vehicle subsidies and deport owner Elon Musk.
