Amazon unveiled a new lineup of Echo, Kindle, Ring, Fire TV and Blink devices, with artificial intelligence as the common thread. Highlights include Kindle recaps, Ring’s lost-dog “Search Party,” and Alexa+ features that turn the voice assistant into a virtual doorman and entertainment guide.

Amazon has seen the power and potential of Alexa+, its AI-powered smart assistant, and is now launching a raft of devices to support it. Today, at the company's September 2025 devices event, the company unveiled several new Echo devices, with the Dot Max (pictured, right) leading the pack.

If you're trying to drown out the sounds of Alexa's voice, by all means, place your expensive Echo by a sink. If you want to keep it intact, never place it anywhere near water. This includes the boiling water, searing oil, or bubbling blueberry jelly on your stove.
