Winston could be heard yelling “TRENCHES!” mid-huddle, riffing about meeting a teammate's mom from the sidelines to the disbelief of the lineman and launching into a pile of defensive linemen as well on sideline pep talks with insurmountable enthusiasm. At the end of the day, that was just Winston being himself.
On the latest episode of "No Free Lunch," Winston shared the hard lessons he learned about the money that follows success.
Winston, 31, said that when he entered the NFL at a young age, he had a lot of people around him who he wanted to support financially after he received a four-year, $25.25 million contract as No. 1 overall NFL draft pick in 2015.
"Today is the only time we got! The time is always now!" Winston passionately shouted in the clip, as his teammates huddled around him. “The time is always ticking! So every single route, every single opportunity, make the most of it! Let's fight for each other! Fight 'til the end! Let's go!"
