At 11 a.m. Thursday, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Category 1 Hurricane Imelda is in the Atlantic Ocean, 170 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. The hurricane is moving east-northeast at 30 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph. Imelda is expected to become an extratropical storm.
