GeForce Now is also a bit different to Xbox Cloud Gaming. While the Microsoft system gives access to 100s of Xbox games as part of a monthly Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, Nvidia's offering gives you access to PC games you already own on other digital storefronts, such as Steam and Epic Games Store.

Welcome to July 2024! You made it. We are past the halfway point of the year and to celebrate, Xbox has announced a nice list of new and old games coming to its ever-growing Game Pass service. And it’s also revealed five games are leaving, too. It can’t all be good news.

Since Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard in the biggest acquisition in the history of video games, the Redmond Giant has been relatively slow on the draw when it comes to releasing any actual titles from the megaton studio on Xbox Game Pass.

Soon you’ll have another means of playing Game Pass titles without breaking the bank for an Xbox Series X|S console. Microsoft and Amazon are teaming up to bring Xbox Gaming to select Amazon Fire TV devices in July.

Xbox is extending its Cloud Gaming service to Amazon Fire TV, providing gamers with an alternative method to play their favourite titles without requiring a console or PC.

In addition to a newer Fire TV Stick, you’ll also need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for this to work along with a Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller. Though you can use a standard Xbox controller, many of the best PC game controllers also work on Amazon’s Fire TV since it’s based on Android.

Microsoft is partnering with Amazon to launch an Xbox app for Fire TV devices, enabling cloud game streaming for Xbox Game Pass members. The move comes after Microsoft added the Xbox gaming app to Samsung TVs for a similar functionality,
