American rock climber Alex Honnold became the first climber to scale the tower - formerly the tallest building in the world - without equipment.

Honnold is familiar with the challenges of free-soloing, having climbed Yosemite’s 3,000-foot El Capitan among other feats — but ascending a skyscraper came with its own unknowns.
