Oklahoma has an advantage due to its schedule. The Sooners faced one of the toughest schedules in the country, ranking No. 12 according to ESPN’s strength of schedule metric. They played against six teams that were ranked at the time of the matchups, winning five of those games for a record of 5-1.

Ohio State and Indiana, the only remaining undefeated teams in major college football, are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, ahead of their showdown Saturday in the Big Ten championship game. The loser likely will remain in the top-four in the final CFP rankings and receive an opening-round bye.
