The family of 23-year-old Jordan Thornhill is still waiting for answers more than two months after he was killed.

Michigan State grad Jordan Thornhill, 23, was attending a street party on Cherrylawn Street in Detroit in July when he was fatally shot, police said.

Detroit Police Chief James White said preliminary information from the night suggests some of the gunfire was “celebratory.” Two died and 19 people were injured from the violence.
