An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 rattled Southcentral Alaska on Thursday morning, though there were no immediate reports of major damage.

A 6.0 earthquake struck near Anchorage, Alaska, Thursday morning, causing no major damage or tsunami risk.

The earthquake was felt across the south-central part of the state and as far away as Fairbanks, 245 miles to the north, according to the Alaska Earthquake Center.
