Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter or a stencil, trace out the shape on a ripped-out page of the book. Cut the heart out of the book page and place it over the exposed part of the clock movement.

Drill or punch a hole through the front of your book. Push the clock motor through, ensuring you have enough space to mount the parts to secure it and then attach the hands.
