Utah State campus ‘safe’: Suspicious package detonated before nearby Turning Point USA event
Utah State University evacuated a building because of a suspicious package Tuesday — hours before and about a half-mile away from where Turning Point USA is set to hold its first Utah event since founder Charlie Kirk was killed earlier this month.
The move to investigate came after the event’s speaker, detransition activist Chloe Cole, called the university out on social media.
Despite a surge in new campus chapters, there is a void left by Charlie Kirk’s murder that has implications for the entire MAGA movement.
