The winner joins another person in the state who scored $50,000 in the same drawing, results show.

The Georgia Lottery said Thursday that someone won $1 million pretax on a ticket purchased at the Publix store at 270 Rucker Road.

The $1 million ticket for Monday's drawing was sold at the retail store, which will receive 1% of the prize for selling the ticket.
