Taylor Swift helped her friend Lena Dunham create one of the biggest gut punches in the finale of Netflix rom-com "Too Much." (Spoilers!)

Lena Dunham is no stranger to depicting abortion onscreen.

Head’s up: Lena Dunham’s new rom-com series, Too Much, has finally landed on Netflix—and just like HBO’s Girls, the show has been described as semi-autobiographical. Which, of course, begs the question: How much of Too Much is based on a true story?

For Megan Stalter‘s first leading TV role, she hopped the pond to London for a modern twist on classic British romantic-comedies. Speaking to Deadline about Lena Dunham and husband Luis Felber’s Too Much,

“Shout-out Taylor — thank you for that,” Dunham added. “She brings everyone together; she makes the world go ’round.” Dunham and the pop star have long been close friends. The former co-starred in Swift’s 2015 “Bad Blood” music video, and in 2021, Swift was a bridesmaid in Dunham’s wedding to musician Luis Felber.
