No. 18 Michigan does not expect injured running back Justice Haynes to play this week at Maryland, or next week against top-ranked Ohio State.

Haynes, who topped 100 yards in six of his seven starts this season, has missed the last two games with a foot injury.

Michigan running back Justice Haynes, who led the Big Ten in rushing before a foot injury that required surgery, likely will not return for the rest of the regular season. Michigan coach Sherrone Moore said Monday that he expects Haynes to miss the Wolverines' final two games, this week at Maryland and Nov. 29 against No. 1 Ohio State.

Haynes, who recently had surgery to repair a foot injury, is “probably” out for the Wolverines’ game Saturday at Maryland and the regular-season finale against Ohio State, head coach Sherrone Moore told reporters on Monday.

While the Wolverines may have won the game, defeating the Wildcats 24-22, they will now be without arguably their most impactful offensive player for the team’s most critical stretch of the college football season.
