Kimberly Belflower will adapt her Tony-nominated Broadway play, while stage star Sadie Sink will executive produce.

John Proctor Is the Villain takes place in rural Georgia, and follows a group of high school girls who are studying Arthur Miller’s classic 1953 play The Crucibl e as they attempt to process feminism and the #MeToo movement. And at the end (spoiler alert!), two girls perform a choreographed dance to Lorde’s Melodrama hit, “Green Light.”
