At least 27 campers and counselors were killed at Camp Mystic during the devastating Texas floods, the camp said in a statement. Some remain missing.

The search for the missing continues in Texas following a holiday weekend deluge that killed at least 82 people.

Fifty-nine people are dead as a result of the flooding and torrential rains in Kerr County, Texas, Sheriff Larry Leitha said during a Sunday-morning press conference. That tally includes 38 adults and 21 children, Leitha said.
