The Dallas Mavericks may be without multiple key players in Monday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Anthony Davis, who has missed the last eight games due to a left calf strain, was recently re-evaluated. The evaluation indicated that Davis is making good progress with his recovery. He will be re-assessed in 7-10 days and further updates will be appropriately provided.
Davis will miss at least seven-to-10 more days while rehabbing from a calf injury, the team announced Sunday, according to NBA insider Marc Stein. Davis has been sidelined since leaving the first quarter of an Oct. 29 matchup with the Indiana Pacers with what the team described at the time as left lower leg soreness.
Outside of Davis, the Mavericks will be without guards Kyrie Irving (left ACL surgery recovery), Dante Exum (right knee injury management), and Ryan Nembhard (left knee sprain). There is no timeline to return for any of the three guards, though the injury for Nembhard is a new one.
