The week after Naresh Bhatt told news reporters he was “suffering” as authorities searched for his missing Virginia wife, he stood before a judge on Friday morning facing accusations he killed her inside their home and dragged her body outside in late July.

Narash Bhatt is expected in court Monday for a bond hearing as he faces accusations that he killed his wife, Mamta Kafle Bhatt, inside of their home and dragged her body outside in late July.

To date, he has only been indicted for hiding a corpse, yet court documents disclose disturbing new information regarding blood evidence, unaccounted-for knives, and alleged discrepancies in the individual’s account.
