Both disturbances have a low chance for development, but will see some action over Labor Day weekend.

The National Hurricane Center was monitoring two tropical waves in the Atlantic basin, according to the 2 a.m. advisory. The Atlantic basin consists of the northern Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. First wave: This tropical wave is located in the eastern Atlantic north of the Cabo Verde Islands. It's moving west at 11 to 17 mph.
